Ecodan Heating chosen for development in Rathfarnham
A development of 21 Elegant homes in Rathfarnham, South Dublin achieved an A rating using Mitsubishi Electric’s Ecodan® air source heat pump.
The Ecodan range of heat pumps provide heating and hot water to meet all levels of demand and reduce energy bills and are the only range of A++ rated air to water heat pumps.
This new development of large 3,4 and 5 bedroom homes located in Rathfarnham, Dublin 16, is in full compliance with Part L legislation thanks to Mitsubishi Electric’s Ecodan heating system. The system consists of an 8.5kW Ecodan Monobloc air source heat pump, which provides 100% of both space heating through radiators fitted on both ground and first floors as well as the domestic hot water, which is stored in a 200 Litre Ecodan integrated hot water cylinder.
Residents will have full control of their home heating and water whether at home or on the go via Mitsubishi Electric’s easy to use MelCloud app.
MelCloud not only provides instant wireless control of their heating and hot water but also provides the user with all of the information they need for monitoring the energy usage of their home.
